This historic Franciscan mission was known primarily as an educational site and museum for California history. But the active community of Friars knew it had the potential to be much more - a place where the community could deepen their spirituality and faith.

At the same time, the Mission was experiencing a decline from competitive pressure in two key profit centers - the Retreat center and the cemetery - impacting its ability to deliver on outreach and community-based initiatives.

We created a revitalized and modern Mission brand that invites connection with the things that matter most to their visitors: community, family, nature and their relationship with God.
